The Houston Texans hosted a Carne Asada Draft party in Monterrey, Mexico where an international Texans fan was selected to make the 116th overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Texans selected five representatives of the organization to lead the event from different departments. I served as the sole Communications representative to lead all media initiatives, coverage of the event, and coordination of live selection from Mexico.

International influencers were invited to this private event to represent the city of Monterrey and show support for the Texans. We collaborated with the influencers on social media and had the opportunity to connect with fans internationally and grow our marketing initiatives throughout Mexico.

After the conclusion of the event, I utilized our media monitoring program to assess the coverage we gain internationally from the event. I learned that our outreach efforts for the Texans Carne Asada resulted in 1,961,469 in international audience reach, while our live International Draft Pick resulted in 19,847,368 of international audience reach.
