Combining two worlds into one…
LOVB Houston
I was appointed Head of Public Relations for LOVB Houston following the Houston Texans’ acquisition of the organization, creating an exciting opportunity to bring two major sports communities together under one unified platform. My role would focus on developing a strategic communications and public relations vision that connects professional football and volleyball while expanding the reach, visibility, and influence of both brands.
By combining the audiences of the Houston Texans and LOVB Houston, we can create a larger, more diverse sports platform that reaches fans across different demographics, age groups, and interests. The goal is to leverage the strength, recognition, and resources of the Texans alongside the growing popularity of women’s professional volleyball to introduce each sport to new audiences.
Through cross-promotional campaigns, community initiatives, athlete storytelling, media relations, social media, corporate partnerships, and shared fan experiences, LOVB Houston can become an important part of Houston’s broader sports identity. This partnership also provides an opportunity to elevate women’s professional sports, create new pathways for young athletes, and position Houston as a leading market for innovative sports entertainment.
The overall PR strategy would center on collaboration, community, and audience expansion—using the combined power of football and volleyball to create a larger platform, strengthen both brands, and build a deeper connection with Houston fans.
